September’s Five-Minute Wins
Five-Minute Wins are bite-sized pieces of action that you can take in your business that have a big impact without zapping loads of your time. When you become a Duck Pond member, you’ll get instant access to all past Five-Minute Wins, and we publish a new one every Wednesday.
Here are all of our five-minute wins for September, all of which had a focus on mindset. Thanks to Christen for her help with these!

Tech Questions Roundup. A summary of all the questions Duck Pond members asked Chris when he was resident tech & digital marketing expert in August.
The Monthly Quack. In the Monthly Quack, we revisited a popular format – the problem-solving mastermind. Members brought their business challenges to the group and we collectively helped solve them. This one always makes people go away feeling a little lighter and less stuck.
Running your small business inclusively with Anita Phagura. We were joined by Anita, who helped us to analyse and ask questions that will help us run our businesses more inclusively.
What’s happening in the Pond in October?
I’m very excited to confirm that we will be joined by Forest Therapy Guide and Coach Sam Wright, to talk about connecting with nature and why it’s so important. She will also be encouraging us to get out and connect with the outside world…which I for one really need when I’m spending long hours at a laptop. The session is on Monday 11th October at 1000 BST. Sign up today to get access to this and recordings of all our past guest expert sessions.
The Monthly Quack. October’s Quack is going to be another content ideas brainstorming session. If you’re feeling stuck (or even if you’re not!) for blog, social media, or email newsletter/marketing content ideas, come along to the Quack, remind fellow participants what your business does and what you’re looking for, and you’ll come away with loads of content ideas from people with a fresh perspective. This takes place on Tuesday 26th October at 1000 BST.
Introducing the Pond’s “bring a friend” scheme
Are you considering joining the Duck Pond? Do you know a current Duck Pond member? Starting in October, I’ll be introducing a “bring a friend” initiative. Members can invite someone to any guest expert session or Monthly Quack, and you can also spend one week in the Pond Facebook group to get a feel for the vibe. A nice drop of “try before you buy”.
